Hello applicants!
Listed below is our schedule for the applicant happy hours. Please feel free to come to as many as you would like. This is a great opportunity for you to meet residents. Remember, If you have any questions you did not get a chance to ask during your interview day, feel free to ask on this blog.
On Mondays starting at 6:00 pm, our happy hours will be held at The Getaway, DC in the Columbia Heights Neighborhood at 1400 Meridian Place, NW Washington, DC 20010 (202-299-1162). It is also Metro accessible, 3 blocks North of the Columbia Heights Metro Station on the Green/Yellow Line (http://www.wmata.com). Street parking is available, but may be limited (parking is better on side streets).
THURSDAYS
On Thursdays starting at 6:00 pm, our happy hours will be held at Uptown Tap House in the Cleveland Park Neighborhood at 3412 Connecticut Avenue NW (202-244-0860). It is also Metro accessible, 1 block South of the Cleveland Park Metro Station on the Red Line (http://www.wmata.com). Parking is also available with street parking, as well as a small surface lot to the side of the building.
2012-2013 Happy Hour Dates:
Mondays: 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 1/7
Thursdays: 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6, 12/20, 1/10
* Note there will be no happy hours on 10/25 (Intern retreat), 11/8 (Veteran's Day), 11/22 (Thanksgiving), 12/13, 12/24 (Winter Holiday), 12/27, 12/31 (New Year's), 1/3.
